bwahahahahah that was hilarious.....

To answer the question yes it has been done.

1. Use the search feature.

2. Check out turbo-D16.com and d-series.org and search there also.

3. I just completed a rebuild on a turbo d15b7 that has been running for almost a year with no problems.

----it started as SS Autocrap and ended with a rebuilt bottom end, rebuilt turbo, KRB Ramhorn manifold, DSM 450cc injectors, from Uberdata to Chrome, 255lph fuel pump, Nextgear Intake Manifold Gasket, Brand new Zex Spark Plugs, and two layer Headgasket for lower compression. I just need to install this new Turbonetics deltagate I just bought. It has just been tuned by "Shifty 35" from D-series.org in Brentwood, TN on 8psi and by calculations of the compressor map vs Engine, Comp, Chrome Basemap, Displacement, etc. should be making just right at 200WHP and was good for a tuesday night run at the 1/8th mile in 9.36 sec @ 76 mph on bald street tires which should equate out to a low 14 sec run.

That's why I have pics of my old one for anyone who thinks that SS autochrome is a good cheap alternative. Lesson I learned : Don't cheap out on the manifold (it's one of the most important parts). The KRb Fab Ramhorn I have was about $620 with Shipping. Worth the money 100%.

It's a good alternitave if you are on a budget. But even I have changed it up( I have a JDM D15B ready to put in ). Just take time and do it right. It took me the second rebuild on the 8th Honda that I have owned, to figure that out.

The worst part about the B7 is the rods and the air flow. If you can make it breathe better and give it some stronger internals, it will do just as good as any other d-series. The tranny is great for boost also.

In the process of piecing together a HMT kit for my B7. Just need an oil line, IC piping, and my intercooler to come from CCA.

And yeah, it was "Built B16A" that had the VX, I believe.
