reviews on action clutch
I have the unsprung 6-puck, really sucks for daily driving.
If you get the sprung version I would be curious as to what you thought of its engagement

I ran a 2MD for years street driven and it was just like driving a stock car with a little stiffer pedal..doesnt chatter at all and engauges smooth..

It is a common misconception that springs will give a smoother engagement which is not true. Actually, the benefits are that the springs reduce the gear noises in the transmission and help to extend spline life. On some applications the transmission lasts longer. The tradeoffs are heavier weight (possibly causing slower shifting), increased chatter, and more parts to possibly fail.
For those interested, our spring center discs are coming soon!

That is exactly why I ended up buying the unsprung. While researching I read that a lot of people just said get the unsprung less parts to fail, but it was also unclear to me why the sprung hub wouldn't help a little with engagement.
I'm at the point now of looking for another clutch. It's a tough position though because I can either go back to a full face sprung hub, which can only handle 300tq on a good day. or step up to a nicely built twin disk which is nearly 3-times the price.

I have heard a lot of that, probably why I bought the clutch in the first place. My clutch doesnt chatter it's just not a daily driver clutch. It's either grabbing 100% or none at all.
I cant wait to take it out and look at the PP and flywheel. I have seen some people that after 6-months of daily driving the 6-puck has eaten most of the material or worn a big groove in the PP.
