How many miles do you expect out of your Accord?
How many miles do you expect out of your Accord? I trying to get to the 500,000 mile mark like my Dad does with his cars. But if I get 300,000 miles ill be really happy.
Currently I am at 124,000 miles.Purchased at 70,000 miles and no repairs except maintinenece stuff like plugs, air filter, had to add a little 2 cans of freon even though it still blew cold air.. Still on the orginal timing belt which is to be soon replaced.
Whats your goal?

my 92 has 203k. I only drive it in the winter now. but I expect it to only last through this winter. The body is in such bad shape that I feel like the trunk will fall off at any moment. The engine is fine though, other than burning through oil rather quickly.

No less than 300,000 miles on each of the three '97's in my driveway.
The '88 is already at 228,000 and still going, and going and going. Damb thing thinks it's the Energizer Bunny (c) !!!

I got a '98 M/T 4 cyl. 215000 miles. Replaced the alternator and had to adjust the idle, just did the clutch. It should go another 100k at least.
i dont forsee selling the car as being worth it...so proabably untill she dies...that is unless it has a heart transplant somewhere down the road...
Up to around 215-220K right now. Don't know exactly because the previous owner did not fix the odometer when it stuck at 159,999 1/2. He probably drove it 20-30 K before I bought it. First thing i did, fix the odometer. It's sitting at 192,000 now. So do the math. I expect the odometer to get to 250k though.
Don't thing I've ever done a timing belt change either.... hmmmm.... maybe a new job for me to do.

my f22 racked up 340K before i swapped it out. i kinda wished i could have seen how long it would have lasted before the timing belt snapped.
Had my 92EX for 12 years and 140,000 miles and it sill ran perfectly. But I wanted a brand new one with a V6 so I sold it. I should have asked for more than $4,000 because the car was sold within an hour of the time I put the for sale sign on it. Guess I jipped myself on that one.
