between my bro and i, we have had 3 multi-pc wheels repaired for bent lips. i did two at tru-wheel and my bro did his at wheels america. they got the job done, but inherently due to different techniques and processing, it's not gonna be 100% identical to the other ones. roughly $130 for most repairs. are you fixing something and need these services, or are you just trying on a new look?

Two of my wheels scraped against a freeway concrete barrier when I got rear ended a couple of months ago. I'm looking for a place that can fix em up like new. How were the repairs not 100% like the others?

i had gpo's and heidfelds repaired while my bro did a work wheel. these have nice finely polished mirror lips from the mfr, probably spun out of aluminum where no additional work was needed on the surface. these repair guys heat the bends and force in back into shape, and then grind and polish until it looks good again. so i guess it's how much effort they put in. on mine, you can still see some remants of the grind and polish. my bro's wheel looked better but it was more of a brushed aluminum look instead of the shiny mirror look. i'm not sure what they could have done more to match it perfectly, nor if they even cared to try. regardless, problem was fixed in their eyes.

what wheels do you have?

I had to repair two bend Volk GT-Us and took them to Tru Wheel. I was hoping they could replicate the Rays Wheels finish but they do not re-anodize the rims. Instead you have to keep them polished all the time, so I took the rims to a place to do the anodizing. The bright dip anodizing sucks ***! I know of no one that can clear anodize a polished lip like Rays. I would really like to know if anyone has found a place.
