which of the three brands have better overall performance for my EG-gsr. I'm have trouble choosing which one is better/best for good HP gains. Also what is better 4-2-1 or 4-1 for better performance and reliability, thats my bigger question. I appreciate all of your responses and answers. thanks

 

megan is crap IMO, toda i guess choosing from those

 

my friend runs a megan 4-1 header on his mild built gsr. he hit a 12.9 in a eg coupe on slicks. for the price its a pretty good header. dc sports are eh, toda is great but are stupid expensive

 

Toda beats those other 2 hands down....in price and in performance, but you defenitely get what you pay for in this case.

From those 3 choices I would pick the Toda header. I dont know anyone that would rather have a DC or Megan when offered Toda. Unless price is an issue.

 

Is the motor stock or what? For stock or mildly built the Toda is gonna outperform any manifold out there. I've seen dyno charts of a mild gsr motor, the Toda beat an SMS, Hytech and I believe a DTR. Just depends on your build.

come on now, when would $ NOT be an issue when talking about toda?! Otherwise we'd all have toda/mugen/spoon.

 

seeing as how the megan racing costs like half the price of a DC header, and the DC header costs less than half the price of a TODA header, the one that gives highest hp/$$ ratio is megan, just cuz its so damn cheap, but if you have the money and want the highest hp regardless of $$ go for TODA, they make good **** thats reliable and adds some jdm bling to your ride.

??? I dont think you understood my post so I'll say it a different way for you since you have issues comprehending english.

I clearly said that when comparing a $200, $300 and $900 header I would rather have the higher quality $900 header unless the amount of money I had to spend was less than $900. Never did I say Toda was not expensive.

And if that's still too confusing for you try this. You walk into a parts store. A bell goes off and your are the lucky winner of any header they have in stock. They only have a DC, a Megan and a Toda header to give away. Which would you pick?

 

i don't care what anyone says, i love my megan header. i have the 4-1 w/2.5" collector, it isn't the best out there, but its the best value out there IMO. the only header i'd pay a lot for is the an-r header, but i wouldn't spend that much on a header unless i had a lot of money to blow on my car, and that'd be one of the last things.

 

i got a DC sports 4-2-1 header in good condition for 27$ on ebay. WOOT

$ is always an issue. If money was no object, the man probably wouldnt even have asked about the three, he just would have picked up a Toda.
