big prob,need help
ok, so i am ready to go and buy my b16 and get it in my car, i call the place that i have been calling for the past month to get my motor and they are sold out, i call import auto salvage and they are sold out contacted on other place here on the east coast and they were sold out also.
but the first placed i called(evans honda here in tennessee) said that they had a b17 from a 92 gsr that they would sell me, now the b17 is 400 more dollars tha n the b16 but they have the b17 in stock.
so my next question is, would the b17 be a good choice for my car(90si) would all the parts that i had planned to do to the b16 work also(i.e ctr cams, itr intake manifold etc) and also does anyone on here actually have that swap in their car?

Everything you have will work. The only probem (not really) with the B17 is that it is OBD1 so you will either have to convert your car to OBD1 or change the motor to OBD0. If it comes with a tranny you are golden because it is a cable tranny. It might be kind of cool to have a B17, it's not as common as the B16. HTH.
I have two b16 swaps for sale in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 10 hour drive from Nashville. worth it to save on shipping. pics available at:

Get the B17 forsure! It has the YS1 cable GSR tranny that everyone is after. Let me know if you have anyprobs with the swap. I can help on the wiring and everything else.
