Hit coyote saturday night
hey everyone, i was driving home on saturday night and hit a coyote. So far the things i have found wrong are, it needs a new bumper, radiator, a/c condensor, front crossmemeber is bent, and some of the metal on the front of the car, behind the bumper support is bent, my question is, can i use a auto trans radiator and just plug the spots for the trans lines, or should i just go get a new radiator for it. any help is appriciated. thanks.
No comprehensive insurance? Deductible too high?
I've hit deer with other vehicles, it was covered under insurance..
If not, I'd say try a pick-n-pull yard for your parts, sometimes aftermarket is cheaper than OEM.
Good luck.

yeah i have insurance for it, but id rather not turn it in just for a few parts that would probably cost less than 500 bucks used, yeah my deductable is also 500 yeah oem parts are looking pretty expensive thanks tho for your comments
You're right, probably not worth paying the deductible.
You could probably get everything for under $200 if you find a good donor car.
I will say that hitting an animal didn't make my insurance go up..

If the car is not automatic, then it is not even necessary to plug the hose nipples for the transmission cooler. It certainly won't hurt to get dirt in there. Unles, of course, you plan to use it at a later date in an automatic car.
