Default 2001 GSR: Just broke 10,000 miles.. Ugh!

Damnit... I guess my car can't be considered "new" anymore...

I've had the car 8 months already! Running out of mods to do without ruining my warranties

What are you complaining about ?
At 10,000 miles I consider the car is at its prime.
Drive hard!!!!!

I drive hard, believe me...

Besides being my daily driver, this car goes to the AutoX every other weekend and hits the canyons as often as possible

I heard our GS-R's prime is around 35,000 miles - 40,000 miles.

I only have 7900 miles on my car. Almost 2 years. Why the low mileage? I only drive it on the weekends. I have a 2nd car to commute and cruise around with...

you only drive it on the weekends? why? no offence but its just a honda, not a ferrari. Buddy enjoy your car, cars are meant to be driven. Unless theres a reason why you cannot drive your car, i dont understand....................

my 01 gsr has about 12,000 miles on it since last april. considering its been down half the time ive had it( headlight conversion and blown motor), i would consider that alot. but im glad she is broken in and like ive heard alot before it just gets better..my friend w/ 50,000 miles on his R says his car is in its prime now.

I drive it only on weekends because I have class on Weekdays at San Jose. If i take my GS-R there, it'll for sure get jacked. Thas why I drive my Nissan Pick-up to commute to school. And because of that, I usually drive my GS-R only on the weekends.

Plus, I drive my Lexus alot more than my GS-R... That's probly why i have such low miles on my GS-R. Funny tho, cuz most of the miles on my GS-R was redlined or used at Full Throttle...

Some people are really rich.

I have my GSR for 3 years, store the car for the first 2 winter. Then I sold my civic (beater) forcing me to drive my car more. I had 20k for 2.5 years, then in the last 6 months, I put in 10k in there.

Mine has almost 10 months and it has 6,000 miles I'm up to that point too. But Hey you are not running out of mods, Shunk2 Intake manifold, bolt-on, bolt off

Well I don't drive my car everyday either. The reason is because the bad condition of the roads to go to work and the parking situation. I don't want my car with scratches, dings all over and mess up suspension. It might not be a Ferrari but is my car and if I don't take care of it nobody will.
