I have searched around and have not found a sure answer to my question. I have a h22 that I want to put into a eg, but I have a skunk 2 intake manifold and want to make sure about the clearance to the fire wall. I know hasport and HCP are both good mounts. Will an h22 with a skunk 2 intake manifold clear the fire wall with either mounts?

If for some reason I didn’t find the post could you point me to the right direction.

I know for a fact that the skunk2 IM will clear the firewall in an EG with HCP mounts by 2-3 inches. Clearance from the prop valve is slim though, less than an inch. Here is a link to the pics of the clearance with HCP mounts https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=924551

I dont know if the IM fits with Hasport mounts though.

 

Thanks for the link Lost Raider, I called hasport and they said that you would have to bang in the firre wall with there mounts.

I just installed this intake yesterday and I didnt have to beat on the firewall,I did however move the brake distribution block about two inches lower.I have Hasport mounts in my eg with a H22
