Default help w/ skunk2 IM install..

were installing a skunk2 intake manifold on to a 96 b18c1 motor using a 95 b18c1 ecu into a 93 civic dx hatch, we are having trouble getting all the tubing ran, there seems to be extra tubes from the evap purge unit. anyone have this setup or know how to get all the kinks worked out..

yes there are directions for how to wire the IM manifold into a gsr body but not a civic if you get what i mean by that.. for example, you dont need to wire anything for the evap purge (whatever the hell it is or does i dont know) to the ecu when we did the swap, so i dont know if its even being used now but the IM says to connect tubes here and there to the evap purge..

this is really confusing the hell out of all of us.. a few questions for some peeps if they know..
1. does collant run into the IM or TB to cool it down even on a stock IM???
2. since the evap purge is on the firewall and suposidly not used can we jsut bypass it and the sensors completly???
3. does anyone have detailed pics of this install?? and tubing diagrams possibly?

The coolant runs right into the throttle body. If you do a search on Skunk manifold they will tell you how to install it. The extra coolant pipe on the IM is not need, you will have to plug that off. As for me, I got a dremel tool and cut that thing right off and have the hose cover it completely. Or better yet, cut it off and have someone weld it shut.

pic from http://www.jdmhondaparts.com

The big tube facing forward (bumber) goes to the PCV valve on the black box.

The little tube on the front goes to the FPR.

The little tube on the back goes to the EVAP, I had to use a reducer to get the little hose to fit the big hose that goes to the charcoal canister. If you don't need it connected, just use a T and connect that tube with the small on on the front for the FPR.

The big tube on the back goes to the brake booster.

I had to T the little coolant line to the one from the side of the head (under the Vtec solenoid) to the throttle body.
