time to set a new goal... 300 whp on a stock f22b1 has officially been done!
So this afternoon I got my tune touched up a bit... by the one and only Super Dave from over at the Whip Factory (
). All I can say is DAMN... Dave is the MAN!
Anyways with the few little changes I made he was able to push past 300 whp on the 2nd pull... on a completely bone stock f22b1 motor... from valve cover to pan.
All said and done the exact corrected numbers were 335 whp/ 279 ft. lbs. after only 3 pulls... got the dyno sheet right here and will upload it in the morning before I go to work if anyone is interested.
Time for a new goal I guess.
(and bigger injectors... hehehe)
Edit: Needed to add something in bold. Link to the dyno charts in my storage online... sorry only way I could do it without them being resized by the host. http://briefcase.yahoo.com/twkdcd595@sbcglobal.net

btw this is a custom kit, 450cc injectors (max'd), and a p28/ hondata s200b.
best wishes to all... and with that I am off to bed.

Holy ****... Im impressed... how much boost and at what rpm did you hit max hp, and tq???? I think you told me to get in touch with you a while back to chat about yopur setup...Im really interested, im layin my baby down for a week in like ten days to do the damn thing...cant wait!!!
Congrats!!
Congrats!!
stop'd revving at 6500... although it was still making power.
boost crept up on me just a bit... I was running open dp. I will check my datalogs and let you know on the boost.
I can tell you it was more than 10 psi and this was on pump 93... thanks to these wonderful 8.8:1 compression motors.
the 450's are definately max'd out... those are getting changed to 850 or slightly bigger very soon.
THANKS for the compliments... really appreciate it. I have been working toward this for quite some time and now things are starting to come together well.

wow man....yea, the last thing you wanna do is maxing our your injectors when you're pushing the motor that far....
how many miles/what shape was the motor in before you boost it?....if this setup is reliable and doesnt brake ****, you might be able to pass accordfreak in the HT lore of boosted stock F motors

I agree, I do not plan on running these injectors for this setup for any period of time... as soon as I can afford to change them out, they will be gone.
I do not daily drive this car at all btw... my car and motor has 89,xxx well maintained, original miles and compression tested solid # across all cyl's.
Going to compression test it agian just to see how she is doing after the beating it took on the dyno last night. The setup is pretty solid from what I have seen so far but we shall see.
btw what were accordfreaks #'s... I dont recall them.

You've surpassed Accordfreak by a long shot so no worries.
Do you think theres been major changes from f22 to f23 engines? Seems like people be blowing the f23's a lot faster and they cant hold up. I know its all about tuning and condition but theres been doubt that the f23's cant hold up. Id like to believe different.

congrats, but we need more specs!
turbo? timing? a/f under boost? how conservative is this?
330whp on 450cc's...hows your fuel pressure looking under boost?
dont get me wrong, that is damn impressive and very inspiring for fellow accord owners. good luck and great job though! now upgrade those injectors and get ready for forged pistons at least
edit, are you still on the t3/t04e? is it a .48 exhaust?

I gues I'll find out. I wanted 260 to the wheels. But I gues I should go higher huh.

sorry for the delay in the dyno sheet... I need to scan it at a friends cause my attempts to take a digi shot of it came out like poo.
turbo setup:
EDIT'd, setup has changed and if you have any questions just PM me and I will fill you in.
Anything specific... I will do my best to fill you in on what I know, it is a pretty basic custom setup... see above.
Edit: To add I liked the car alot at 250/ 250 and thats a nice health bit of power for our cars (nothing to under-estimate). I dont know if I would suggest anyone repeat what I am doing... be more careful than me if you do run more boost (ie bigger injectors to begin with).
He still made some good numbers though it looks like... not bad at all.
I am trying to get my hands on a f23 and I think I may be able to find one here soon. I am going to pull the head and see how the lower end compares to my f22b1.
I personally have not heard to much info. about boosted f23's and whatnot... I dont know of any turbo f23's around this area though.
Dont know the exact psi... was trying to watch the w/b, egt's, revs, etc... did not get to check any of the log'd info cause it was on the tuners laptop not mine.
It was spiking to around 16' ish psi from what little I saw and could reference quickly... open 3" dp and only a 35mm tial own me at the moment.
setup is listed up top.
I will try to work on that as best I can... its been nasty cold and wet here for the last few days. Also does not like to hook up or go unnoticed (sounds like a loud *** tractor at idle...
) should a cop pass by me or anything like that.
Turbo setup listed up top.
I dont think pushing that far at all is conservative, in general... but extra timing was pulled quite a bit cause I was on pump. I think Dave said I was at 19 and he pulled 4 degrees or so before the run. The f22 is strong but it seems like it has to be pretty close to the limits at that power level. At least for me, I dont know really if I would wanna push it past this.
A/F was hovering around 12:1 in boost... started to lean out/ he lifted, it was at about 6400 and the injectors were maxed. Which was just barely under the 6500 rev limiter anyways.
Definately not staying on 93 though... in fact I should have been on better gas and will be. I am getting use to paying alot for gas already and I dont daily drive it, so why not.
On a Walbro pump and a stock regulator, just over 50 psi at idle, at the fuel filter. Did not watch the gauge underhood under boost... will remember to do that next time hopefully.
Edit: I already have a set of pistons and rods for a motor build when it is needed.
Sorry I am the typo master it seems... fixed most of my grammar I think.

very well done, didnt know you were on a 60-1
i am very happy for you! i pushed my b2 to the limits on t3/t4b, 253/285wtq at 16psi 18 degrees total timing 11.5:1 daily driven.
im jealous
again congrats on pushing the f series single cam that far!

THANK YOU so much for the compliments!!!!!!...

Found someone with a scanner and I am going to upload this after work tomm (work is soooo ghey but ness.
).
The f series motor is always being hated on by the dual cam clan but I like my single cam... esp. seeing the potential these motors have. Plus they very inexpensive compared to some other motors.
