getting on the freeway tonight, after driving on and off all damn day...and i got on the gas a bit in 3rd. i noticed, out of my rear view mirror, i was smoking a bit. it wasnt black, thats all i could tell since it was dark.
when i got home, i checked my coolant and oil. both are normal and coolant overflow bottle has maybe a tablespoon of coolant in it, which is nothing. either way, car has never ran hot, ever.
so, my car was most likely producing blue smoke, which is burnt oil. really couldnt smell anything either. my question is, has anyone had an occasion where this happened and it didnt end up being the rings or valve seals?
im just a bit paranoid now, as lately my car has lost a lot of low end power. i thought this was due to bad plugs, but perrhpas its something else? what does anyone have to say about this?
built gsr in 92 si hb
jg pro comp head and valvetrain
jdm itr pistions...im assuming with stock ringlands...
itr camshafts

There is a possibility that oil or coolant could be entering your cylinders through a break in the head gasket.

Like i said, everything was normal with the coolant and oil, meaning neither one was mixed with the other.
