Default B18b and B20 oil pans

I put in a JDM B20 in my EG hatch recently but the dipstick is like 10 feet long and it rubs when I close the hood. So I was wondering if I put in a LS dipstick and the stem the dip stick goes into, would I still read accurate oil levels in my B20.
Thanks for any information.

LS dipstick and tube will work fine.
