one of my bulbs burned out the other day so i changed it out today.. anyone whos done this knows how much of a pain in the *** the little rubber thing is... well when i was putting it back together i accidentally tore it.

it would have stayed put, but there was a big gap and i was scared of water getting in my headlight so i taped up around the hole as a temporary fix...

i live in washington though and it rains a lot so i'm still a little worried... you guys think it'll be ok?

 

I would buy a replacement. It can't be very expensive, and it's better than having condensation form inside your lamp if water finds its way in.

i intend on that... i taped the hell out of it though just in case for the time being.

you think a shucks/kragen would carry it? or would i have to go to honda/picknpull?

 

how bigs the gap if its sort of small hit it with some silicone

I think you'll most likely have to go to a dealer or a junk yard for it.

its the biggest pain in the assssssss way to keep water out. i like the DA/DC headlight bulbs better, doesnt have that annoying *** clip thing either.
