Does anyone using this suspention? seems pretty dope!!
I have thought about it but am waiting till spring to make my suspension decision. I am hopeing by then someone will have tried it. I know they are doing a lot of r&d on their other coilvoers, why not buy these and try them for yourself?
There are two people State-side that have been using prototype Select R3's, and one person who's in the process of installing a set of Apex P2's. While his suspension swap/work hasn't been going too well, I'm hoping he'll have some sort of review by spring-time
Also, it looks like we might have an opportunity to get a relatively scientific and respectable coilover comparison done in the coming month, including our own coilovers and a few from other manufacturer's. Very exciting, we will see how that goes. Hopefully it'll quell a few of the doubts that people might have about our products, and answer a few more questions.
Although I will go ahead and say that the lower mounts are not going to have any problems if that is one of your concerns. While the grand opening sale will end soon, the Satisfaction Guarantee will be up for a while, and H-T members will always get the 4% discount.

I know where you're coming from. I've held out (and have been holding off on) buying a bunch of stuff for the GSR for the very same reason, I'm a real low-risk sorta guy. On the other hand, the best experience is first-hand experience. And on the other other hand (???), money doesn't grow on trees. Its quite a quagmire.
look like the D2's, megans, ksports, etc
be interested to find out if those are all made for them by the same manufacturer.
and if they are different, it's quite perplexing how "exactly the same" they all look.

A quick search and a look through the page will show that these are not the same, and those are not the same as each other either. Again, don't be fooled by exterior appearances, because its not the exterior that determines the performance of a coilover (or most products, for that matter).
Its no mystery how two products can look similar yet perform differently. Take the Neon and SRT-4 for example. Or purebred race-horse and a run-of-the-mill farm horse. Or Corn Flakes and Waldbaum's Flakes of Corn. I could go on, of course, but you get the point. Its all in how the product is made up, how its constructed, designed, and used. It requires some basic knowledge of how a damper and spring works, and what makes one bad, one good, and another better.
If you are still skeptical, you're welcome to take us up on the Apex Challenge. Run a set of any of our OTS-rate Apex's for 60 days, and drive them however you want and regularly would, to compare with whatever your benchmark is. If you're not satisfied, then return them for your money back, and make all the first-hand experience-based claims you'd like.

i'd never buy any of that Taiwan made junk anyway
