Default Anyone have the pin outs for ODB0 to ODB1 harness or DPI to PGMFI

I have looked every where. people seem to act like the only way you can do this it to pay some ***** 270 dollars for something I can do in about 2-3 hours on my own. I dont make 80 dollars an hour. I will be damned if I am going to pay someone that much to do what I can do myself for a mere fraction of the cost. Please someone point me in the right direction of these pin outs so I can get my car running again today!

hahahha I swear i'm not a *****.
And it's O-B-D Not O-D-B
On Board Diagnosic.... not Ole Dirty Bastard.

hate to say it, but a simple search will give you the pinouts for both OBD0 DPFI, MPFI and OBD1 ECU's... Google or Honda-tech, both search engines will yeild results... and you won't have to sit around waiting for someone to respond

The ECU wiring is difficult, i don't know a whole lot of people who can successfully do it.
Beyond that, i would say go for it. 0-1 ECU Jumper for $110 is all i would say you "have to have".

Give me a call on Monday and i'll straighten you out on all that you have to do. I'll make sure you're using the right parts etc... Really, we're quite helpful

Excuse my temporary dyslexia :-) I did find the info on the FI part, really easy there just need an SI wire loom for the injectors and the injector resistor box. That is really straight forward. Seems I am using a different search query on goggle because all I find is this really crappy company called Rywire ( Just kidding) no offence intended. I wasn’t meaning anyone in particular it was a generalized remark on being able to find a million places that do it and no diagram to do it myself :-( I’m too poor right now with all of the parts that I just shelled out to fix my car to afford your harness or believe me it would be much easier for me to let you are one of the other many companies that are doing them, make it for me. Thanks for the heads up on this site. I haven’t found it yet but I will continue to look.

Haha. It is people like this that don't appreciate advancement in this sport and the R&D and grief that people like myself have gone through to help get the sport where it is today. The harnesses aren't 270 bucks. You can get one for right around 100 bucks, get all brand new parts, fully tested and warrantied and be done with it. But I understand that you want to do it yourself. That is what started my business and huge demand for my OBD0-1 harnesses all across the world. There are countless of OBD0-1 threads with pinout information and how-to's. Chances are though that you will be back on here in a few weeks with your wiring all messed up. Besides, how can you get the pinouts read correctly, when you can't even say OBD or DPFI correctly?

:End rant for this guy calling me a *****.

Well the link I posted up is correct. I have a fully functional obdo-obd1 ecu conversion harness, subharness and dizzy jumper harness.

Actually I really do appreciate the advancements. I was racing Hondas back in 80’s. Back then any advancements were brought on by a do it yourself, trial and error technique. Back then, we would share our ideas freely with anyone that was interested in advancing their knowledge on the subject of handling and performance enhancements. We didn’t hide or charge for the knowledge.

Don’t take what I am saying to mean that I don’t think there is a place for people to make money off of those who either don’t have the time, knowledge or want to do it on their own. Its just some of us before the fast and furryass craze reared its rice-a-roni head, could only get it done by doing it our selves. More than half of the advancements that you speak of, we pioneered in a day where you couldn’t go down to the local speed shop and plop your mommies hard earned cash down and say I want that. So don’t speak to me on the R&D side of it. I was out there racing when most of you were still watching He-man in your footy PJ’s. That wasn’t the point at all that I was making.

I was stating (and I will admit, in not the best way) my discussed in not finding just a plain scat out there for the wiring and instead in my goggle search, only finding 40 or so places to buy as opposed to a how-to on the subject. As was pointed out to me by a few already, I was wrong in how I searched for it and it turns out that the information is available providing I change my search query pattern.

As far as calling you a *****? I don’t stoop to flame wars by calling names. I don’t know you and you certainly don’t know me so do no assume that I am some 16 year old kid just getting started. I have raced SCCA and a few IMSA events years back in carbureted Hondas and left them for Mazda RX-7’s for a number of years. I wanted to play with this FI CRX but as I have proven. (and freely admit) I lack the basic understanding of conversions and FI technology in the first place. That is why I come here to learn.

Again as I stated in my post towards Rywire, I was just frustrated with my lack of being able to find what I needed. Not and them and their product. Or anyone else’s for that matter. I hope this clears that up for you Blown90HatcH as I wasn’t trying to offend you or anyone else. I was just desperate for some knowledge that I was searching for and not finding.

We good now?

Thanks again

Mike

and before I get flamed for the He-Man referance. I find nothing wrong with He-Man, footy PJ's Or being young.

And thanks Vtecn8ive for the link, between that and the ones posted for the FI conversion I have what I need to get started.

thakns for those who passed on the useful info. and I will be giving you a call and taking you up on your gracious offer of your time Monday.

thanks again
Mike

I made my own harness a couple of weeks ago. It was a PITA but it was definitely worth it. Actually it was only time consuming to tell you the truth. I have a check engine light though, but I just realized its either my chipped 28 or the chip inside the computer. I have spare p28 laying around and I pluged it up and no check engine light so its either the two mentioned. Someone mentioned cutting the connection at J1 to see if the light goes away to determine which problem it is, didn't mean to highjack.

Its one solid code. It sucks though because I let my friend chip a p28 computer I had and he fried the last one. So he found me another one and chiped this one for me. I just hope its not the computer again and just the chip.
