Default Picked up some goodies (BLOX and Eagle)...

Picked up some BLOX extended wheel studs on thursday(thanks WHOISDAN), and today i picked up my eagle rods.

Only thing is, when i look at the rods. There's supppose to be a slit at the end where the cap is so it can mate up to the crank. But my rods dont have it, i don't know whether if its torqued down too much where i can't see it, or if i gotta get it machined. Any inputs?

They really do look like 1 pc rods...hmmm....i try so hard to look at it but cant distinguish if there is a line or not... try unbloting the cap bolts and see if it comes off or moves a little bit. If they were supposed to be 2 pc, then they should be. I dunno, this really has me scratching my head.

Does it split where I circled?

i see the other mating surface on the other side....you have to look into the bearing area to see it, once you fiind it you can follow it back.

I too can see the side with the slit, but the right side doesnt have it. As for the bearing area, there is no slit there at all. So i'm really stumped. I will try to take the bolts off and see, but the bolts are torqued down realllllly tight/

When I received my Eagle rods, they were like that too. Just remove the rod bolts and it'll come apart. They just look like one piece because they're just made oh-so-perfectly.
