What size bolts for sparco seat mounting?

I've been trying to find some allen bolts to mount my brand new sprint seat and from one thread i found on here from a while ago the said the bolt size was 8m X 1.25 . I tried that size and it didn't fit. Neither did 8 X 1.00 or any other size bolt both standard and metric in the 4 hardware stores I went to. Whats the deal here? I don't want to buy an expensive hardware kit

Couldnt you just call them and ask for the bolt size?

I've got a bunch of them stuffed in my toolbox sitting at my moms. I'll see what they are when I go over there tonight.
