Default D-series+mods=slow timeslips.

Heres the case. 98 Civic EX, Stock d16y8 98k, Compression 200 Across The Board. WHen i first purchased the car, The car had a check engine light. Reset the ECU, It went away. Came on every once in awhile, so I hooked it up to an OBD2 scanner. Code was Fuel system to rich and bank 1 running rich. So i figured it was an o2 sensor problem. Well i thought nothing of it, Modded the car with a Crower stage 1 cam, AEM intake, DC sports header, 2.25 in. exhaust to dynomax muffler, VAFC, No rear seats/spare tire. Best i could manage was a 16.2@83. I purchased a Crower Stage 2 cam, and took it to the track today. 16.1@83. I SHould be atleast turning in high 15s. 60 fts r 2.3, but none the less should be doing better. Could anyone chime in with experience with this problem/possible fixes. (PLEASE NO ITS A D-SERIES THATS WHY!)

Any tuning involved? I don't know if its just me or not, but if I got cams, I would atleast get it tuned before going to the track to get the most potential out of them.

yes its not going to move at all. only route going for you is to boost. go get a 88-89 hf or a eg cx/vx ... and put your d in there, BIG difference. It's faster than a mad b16 vtak in a 96-00 ex yo!
