Default got a quick question from my gc and koni install.

i just install gc 500lbs front and 550 rears on my 93 hatch, i went with 8 inch front and 7 rears. after the install and everything, i set the car height and everything went well. it drives like it's on jackstands.

but my question was why does it look like i only have anout 1.5-2 inches of shock travel before it hits the bump stops? i did cut the stops in half and did not use the dust boots and i for sure did not slam the car. it sit with about 1.5i inch wheel to fender gap, front and rear.

just wondering if this is normal? as i really never looked at my old setup before.

you a retard, i guess you can't help me either. seems like you haven't been around long enough young buck to understand that i have 8 inch tall springs fronts, and 7 inch tall rears. got it? good!! now let some real people who know this stuff answer my question.

also no i'm not too low and no it's not to stiff, take your pantsy *** to bed. this car is built for a purpose, it's not a ******* commuter.

What spring perch is your koni yellows on? And how far up are you on the collar sleeve?

In fact, how tall is your collar sleeve? And did you see the 7 and 8 printed on your spring to make sure they are the correct lenghts.

Finally can you post pics of your suspension and we can take a better look at it.

Thanks,
Tim

Or go some top hats. They will increase suspension travel about 1 inch.

Dude 24mm= about an inch. 25.4 mm=one inch exact. this isnt worth being stupid about.
Once thing to note is that one inch of shock travel is not one inch of wheel travel. dont forget the motion ratio.

I was thinking the same thing when I installed mine. Turns out that there really only was about that much shock travel.

That's why Koni started offering the shortened shaft shocks off the shelf, and GC developed the tophats.
