Pour Coke on it. The acids in it will loosen it up.

Get a 3 foot pry bar and some lube. I have had that problem many times. First heat the bolt with a torch for like 10 minutes, try cracking it off with a pry bar, If that doesn't work. Soak it in anti-seize lube and then pry bar it till it comes off.
I did this last week

Try the coke before the heat.

<-----I've never used coke, but I don't think it would help to put it on something red hot.

Get a 1/2 drive ratchet and put a long poll on the bottom of it. Make sure its not some cheap ratchet or it will break, I know . Have one of your friends hold the brakes for you and get the workin. Some people have said put the car in 5th gear but that doesn't do **** for me. Holding the brakes always works for me.

yeh get some pb blaster, and either a large pipe or sumthing equivalent, and bust it loose....i usuall leave the wheels on it,remove the centercaps, and put it on the ground so the wheels wont spin...

Yep coke should help quite a bit... The trucks transporting the syrup for coke have to display hazmat placards for corrossives! That **** can dissolve a nail in a few days!!!!! And it tastes GREAT!!!!!

Forget the torch, you can make due with some mapp gas. Comes it propane-style bottles, but yellow. Its about 10x hotter than propane if i remember correctly. Always gets the job done.

lmao coke wow i wish i would of known, what i did is i grave the socket put it in a big wrench, grabl a pipe, put the wrenchs end all the way inside and use it was a torque wrench, i had the car on the floor on all wheels put 2x4 in front on the wheels and in the back wheels so car wouldnt rock back n fowarth, put the wrench in in a position when i can push down, or even stand on it and tryed moving up and down with your weigh shift up and down, seems funny as hell but it worked for me.....but that coke thing is true tho it contains acids that makes gas pores, i forgot the technichal name for the acid but its listed in the ingrediants......

If the tab has really warped the nut then it could be difficult even with a 500lb. If axle is toast you may want to try a dremel or something to cut it off.

dont heat with anything hotter than propane.

pb blaster and a 5 foot pole on a 1/2 ratchet usually works for me just go to home depot and buy one in the fencing section

and to keep the wheel from turning i either put my 24" breaker bar between the lugs with the lugnuts on the end so it doesnt slip off and the other end on the ground, or if you dont have a breaker bar or something of the sort take the center cap off the wheel, then put the wheel on and set the car back on the ground and break it loose that way with the 5 foot pole
