Your opinion about lug hole sizes
This isnt a honda specific question, but i want to know what you wheel experts think.....
Japanese cars use 12mm lug studs, so lug holes on most japanese wheels are also 12mm. I'm thinking of buying a set of used Volk Racings off a VW GTI. 5 lug VW's use 14mm lug bolts, so these Volks were drilled out to 14mm.
Do you guys think its dangerous to run a wheel with 14mm lug holes on 12mm studs? The lug holes are tapered, so I would be using conical seat lugs and hubcentric rings. The car/wheel is 5 lug. Thanks.
