Turbo a ULEV motor?
i suppose that would work, but i really recommend running some sort of more tunable engine management....but if you want to run an fmu and a vafc its you choice....
all i have to say is - invest in a wideband o2. it will be the best investment you ever made. i have bought many different things for my cars in my day and this was by far the best. it will give you some kind of reference point to make adjustments on a vafc or similar....

Actually, The ULEV versions could actually lend themselves to boost quite well. What with the F23 standard bottom end, compression and short duration econo-cams; it might respond quite nicely.

Not to mention, with FMUs the engine will generally run pig-rich in boost. If it's true that ULEV engines run a bit lean, it might actually help a little.

Don't give him any motivation though.
Running JUST an FMU can be disastrous. You can't properly tune with just an FMU. You'll want at least GReddy E manage or some type of piggyback.
Unfortunately Hondata doesnt work on 6th gen ECUS, that would have been yourbest bet.
