Go to Radio shack, and get your self a (I dont know the name) db tester
its like $60 and worth the money.

If it is under legal limit find another cop and have him test it and then have him sign and in court you will win.

I know a girl here who had dunk exhaust on her GSR, and she got pulled over for it. It's pretty decently loud, but I would say it's not any worse than Greddy Evo. It just doesn't help that the muffler is the size of a small moon, and probably has it's own gravity.

Thats true, but for all the good it does by reducing noise, it attracts all that attention back because its so big. I oersonally don't mind it though, i think it looks great and sounds even better.

I hated the attention of my Apexi N1, it was the size not the noise because now i have a Spoon N1 and added a test pipe and havent gotten a second look from a cop yet.

I got pulled over for my n1 exhaust ( but i was dumb and did a straight pipe) so it was kinda asking for trouble..
Now i have a stock exhaust with a tip, and they funny thing is the cop pulled me over.. lol
but i think the n1 is not legal. the db readings are a bit loud... i beleive the limit for passanger cars is 95db

It depends on what type of mods you have. I used to have a Dunk many years ago. It was the first generation Dunk with the 130mm tip. Any straight through muffler/canister (like the Dunk) will be very loud.

If you have restrictions in the exhaust such as a resonator(s), small piping, or even a turbo, the sound level will be reduced. If you're just going to put the Dunk on your stock piping, or you have a stock car, and you have the Dunk system on it, it will be loud.

If a cop wants to pull you over for it and ticket you, he can.
