Default how much would u pay?

what would u guys pay for this car, i think its worth about 1500, guy wants 2000firm.

1990 5speed torino red crx dx
160,000 miles
mint interior
straight body, no dents, chips, scratches.
rebuilt tranny and new clutch
bone stock car

the one bad thing- about a half dollar size of surface rust bubbling through the paint on the rear quarter panel.

thanks

im not gonna say it...but you know some people will tell you this isnt tech or whatever...

anyways i actually bought practically the same car but it was a 91 dx w/ 140,000 mi. on it with the same rust (about a quater sized) for 1700...but since its rebuilt trans and clutch, i'd say thats a FAIR price. always try and talk down, even if its only 100 bucks. some people on here are lowballers, but that doesnt sound like too bad of a deal...

It should get awesome gas mileage. If it is very clean and maintained, then $2000 is a good deal.

sounds good but I personally would make sure the rust isn't to bad. But there's a guy on HT that has a few quarter panels.

well i got the car for 1800 and really happy i bought it. car is from georgia so its really clean, the rust is minimal, and it was an older womans car. the interior is spotless and it feels like im getting into a new car. it also came with tons of reciepts and the original crx catalogue. already starting putting my si seats, door panels, and things here and there. looks like my si will be sold as a shell soon and ill get pics of of the new beast.

Anywhere from $1500-$2000 would be fair.
You have to take into consideration that it is a decade old car and is overmileage.
Although if you're a true Rex enthusiast...you'll take it!

quick question, your red Si looks in better shape than the DX, and you're using the Si as a parts car for the DX?

1. the rims are 15x7 bronze rota circuit 8s
2. if u check out both cars in person the dx is alot cleaner

i was in the market for an eg or ek hatch and i realized im a true ef man. i drove by this car which was 5 minutes away and had to have it. the biggest reason is i needed a new project. the old si saw numerous engine swaps, turbo kits, wire tucks, and all that bs. this car i just want to do right the first time and enjoy it. it will be lowered by the weekend and needs a set of rims. i was considering white c10s, any opinions?
