I got some 2001 headlights which are supposedly JDM black. The housing aren't painted but, some type of black plastic housing which looks pretty much oem.

Did oem headlights come in black housing in japan? I know for sure that these are not ebays since it has the 'Honda' embedded on the lens and also KOTO, SAE etc.

i think those are just oem US headlights w/ painted housings

 

there was a completely different front end in japan so no....they arent mad tyte jdm yo.

i do wonder how they would look though...

Note that not all JDM Honda Integras have the sought after "JDM conversion." Some of their lower models, like their SOHC ones also have headlights just like us.

 

Painted housing. '98+ bubble lights Integra doesn't exist in Japan, exists only if ppl did the conversion.

Really? Why the hell would you want to do that. The bubble lights look horrible compared to a jdm front(in my opinion)

its not, but there to show u that they do in fact, have the bubble headlights available in their market.

yeah, after i took a good look, i did see that they did re-seal the lens.

so yeah, its painted, and i've been lied to.

The JDM SIR-II came with the round headlights. That was the same as the 94-97 USDM front. The 98-01 USDM front never sold in Japan.

yeah, i thought 50 shipped was kinds fishy.... but hey, its differnt and still in new condition.

yeah. they had it for like the first year the gen3's came out... but they decided they didn't like it and switched to the single headlights. so .. again .. they won't have the 98+ headlights the same way we do.

 

Lets get this straight, the round headlights came on 93 and 94 JDM integras. Only the USDM 94-97 lights.

No matter the model in Japan(even the xDi(Sohc d16 with no power anything)) came with the coveted JDM front if it was made after 1994.

You only paid 50 bucks shipped for those lights? That is an awesome deal if they work right.
Word of advice, before you bu anything from anyone, research it please. That way you don't have to worry. Good luck though.

I remember looking at a car mag where they were showing pics at a car show in Japan. i remembe seeing a DC with a 98+ flat black front end. theres also that guy with the DA in japan with the super cool USDM front headlight conversion.
