The Sparco one is nearly $50.

At the risk of wrapping toilet paper around my head (2-ply, 2 uses!), has anyone found a cheaper alternative (besides making one myself...)?

This is just a cushion for between the top of the seat and my head.

Tweak, you have a pic of what you're talking about? Because I have no idea what that is, or why it'd be used.

 

Think "headrest"

Most fixed seats go straight up, but the head naturally sit forward to the back, so the headrest bumps out a bit.
