the turbo piping
you can fab your own piping with mandrel bends from JC whitney for well under $200
you can buy pre-fabbed piping but if you're not using that kit's manifold, turbo, & I/C there's no guarantee that a kit's piping will fit your setup.

those crush-bent Steel pipe they bent you at your local muffler shop will do you no good..
1)most turbo's inter-cooler pipes are aluminum which is much lighter
2)most quality pipes are beam rolled, which prevents your pipe from blowing off
3)crush bent restrict air flow and cause turbulence

you got it, they will not hold up, yes you have to weld "that sh-t", make sure you get the right material with the right welding machine, for aluminum pipe, you need to tig weld it together and most of the muffler shop don't have one
one advice for you, sir, don't cheap put when you going boost, they will not perform at the same level, why spend all the cash on turbo and cheap out on little things and not harness all the power?
