hey guys, i just got my eg rear quater panels rust grinded off, and repainted, as well as a few touch ups on the paint scratches on my car. the estimate was for 100-120 for each panel.. and the bill ended up 550 dollars? have i bent over here, or does that seem fair ?

body shops really have a hard time giving estimates for rust damage. If they start grinding away and continue finding rush even though its not coming through the paint they remove it. Sometimes leading to more work in repairing then expected. They usually charge around 100-150 for rush repair on each panel depending on how much there is or if the patch panel will cover it or if they have to make one themselves. So your looking at $318 if everything goes completely smooth.... which never happens. Depending on your touch ups that price may be fair.
