so i buy this 88 crx dx it has a aftermarket sunroof and it looks like it has bin rear ended then the roof leeks and i fined out it has bin front ended now i don't know were to go with it do i buy a different one or what.
i want to road race, autocross,and have a good looking nice car

 

Sorry to hear about your bad purchase.
This is a good argument for getting a CARFAX done and having a used car inspection done before your future purchases.

Stick with the DX for now. Put as little money as possible into it and see if you like the CRX character. Don't let the crash damage and leaking parts factor into that opinion because its not a characterisitic of the car.
If you like it, keep your eye out for a 90-91 Si in reasonable shape. If you are not in any hurry, and selective, you can usually find one that exceeds your expectations.

 

Agreed. Let it be a lesson learned (the hard way), but don't let it get you down. Use the car as a daily driver while you look for a better example. Don't do any mods to the car that you can't easily swap over to another CRX if a better one comes along.
