I've been looking around trying to find how well the other SFWD/T4 guys are going with t3 hotside turbos. So far, I've seen that 93H22ACX did it with a t3/t67HO (731whp and 478trq I believe), and Turbo-charged is close with a 10.05@141 with a GT35R (I believe he's still running the /63 housing, and he has posted that it hasn't seen over 550whp at the track if I recall correctly). Excellent times from both of you, congrats BTW. If I understand correctly, they're both T4 cars.
Are there any other cars out there running 9's or close to it in T4/SFWD with a t3 hotside (no squeeze)?
I'm going to try to do it SFWD. I've hit a 10.4@140 /w a 1.75 60' so far at 6000feet elevation in SFWD trim. There's definitely room for improvement with my setup (I've hit a 1.70 60' before), but shaving that last .5 seconds is definitely no small task. I've got your typical (simple) 600's whp setup (actually, I made 612whp/403tq corrected up here: subtract about 25% from that number, so maybe 500 actual whp). Still running the .63 a/r stg 5 t3/t67. I've already ordered the .82 housing for next season. I just don't want to drop the $$$ to get a new DP, manifold and T4 turbo.
Has anyone done it in SFWD trim yet? Care to share some info on the setup?

Well u look at the cars going 9's all of them are putting out at least 550 and most are in the 6-700 range. A T3 hotside can make that, but most racers out there would choose the T4 since you'll get more power and the lags not really hurting you leaving off a high rpm 2step/antilag while FTS. But definitly work with your budget. If you need money elsewhere in the car definitly don't rush into the new housing/manifold/DP.
im actually working on trying the same thing.. i had a custom turbo built for me.. its a 70 front wheel with a ported s cover and a t3 rear with a p trim wheel .82 a/r. i made 556 on 21-22 lbs with the same 67 you have now..

Lets make this a little more interesting. Limit the people that run 9's with a t3 hot side to a true t3 hot side. Not a p-trim t4 wheel with a t3 housing made to fit. Not that the t3/t67 h.o isn't a great turbo, but your only kidding yourself saying it is a t3 hotside. It is a t3 housing but not a complete t3 hotside.
Just my opinion.

yea, i know. I always end up disagreeing with people about this but, no problems man, i just don't concider it a t3 hot side. It's more like a t3/t4 hotside.
Either way it does make some good #'s with the t3 housing. It will just always be in my book as a t4 turbo with a t3 housing.

Well, our car isn't a T4 car, more like a SLOW Pro4, but we did 9.63@149MPH without spray on a T3 (P-Trim)/T67 turbo. Car is 2420 with driver.

I'd say work on the suspension and driving because -
(W) John Ferguson ('92 Civic) 0.541 9.922 153.79
(L) Cortney Green ('95Honda) 0.600 9.916 144.69
Ferguson won with a holeshot....
Your already running 10.0 at 6000ft, you'll be much faster at Sea Level.
I think you can find what you need in the suspension and nitrous cost less than a all new turbo setup.
153mph is moving, still didn't get it all to the ground however...

I have run 10.65@135 on a SC63 with 27lbs of boost here in Florida on a day that it was in the 90's. I'm going back this weekend on 30lbs and the weather hopefully will be in the 70's. I hope to hit low 10's. I was wanting to go 9's on this turbo but i dont think it will happen. My car is a 95 civic coupe that weighs around 2500 with driver.

I was looking into this about a year or so ago. Only person I found that got really close was GSC's old Si coupe. He told me (if memory serves me right) he went 10.02 with a true T3 hot sided turbo.
I too run a T3/67 (no HO) with .82 Havent had any time for races this year and the ones I made I was plagued with either clutch or ignition problems. However the car has made 465whp on about 15psi boost and pump gas, so I know there's quite a bit more power to be made. Im only going after 10.20's though......if it goes faster then Im one happy pup
