Possible swaps for 3rd gen prelude.
does anyone know wat kind of swaps are available for a 3rd gen prelude that i wouldnt need any crazy fabrication to swap. Or does anyone think its possible to work with the B20a5 that it has in it know. If it is possible im thinking of 400hp out of it. thanx for helping.
it's gonna be harder switching to a motor that's OBD2 than if you keep w/ an OBD1 motor. A B20a5 is a GREAT starting point. But an H22 gives some nice torque upgrade. Ultimately, if you want 400hp, try an H23 w/ a turbo. It's a good setup and if you build it right it's fairly reliable.

the only modern engine swap into a 3rd gen that i've ever heard of is the h22. it requires some custom work and is not cheap, iirc.
personally i think a b16 would be a better choice considering the car, but swapping a modern B would be alot of work as well.
modifying the b20a5 or b21 is a waste of time, as no one really makes parts for that engine, and it's also known to be a hand grenade.
