front camber kit
i already have an ingalls front camber kit which i have not installed yet, the one that allows you to drop the car up to 3". How hard is it to install these? And my bigger question is this, i've been thinking about getting those adjustable front upper ball joints instead. Are they easier to install/more reliable?
pretty easy. jack the car up. take tire out. take out upper arm nut and pin carefully give the upper arm a good wack and the balljoint will come off. install the camber kit. put everything back and align the car.
thats just for the "anchor bolts" which is the kind you and i have. the only thing is you might wanna roll your fenders cause if it's all the way out your run into clearance issues with the wall like so

better check your driveshaft while you are changing the upper arm, when you pull the knuckle toward you, the sliders inside the shaft will tend to dislocate. Just make sure you dont pull it that much out or you will need to remove your inner cv joint to get the sliders back in place, and its a messy job (happened to me 2 times
)
And the main diffrence between the ingalls (anchor bolts type) and the ball joint type is that the ball joint type will give you more ajustement (positive and negative) than the ingalls one. I would say the ingalls is better suited for the street when you want to correct your camber to 0 and the ball joint type would be ideal for racing when you want wide range of ajustments.

so would i be better off staying with ingalls anchor bolt kit or would the adjustable ball joint be more reliable? I'm not looking to race at all. I just want want to drop my car and have a very very reliable setup. I have GC coilovers that i will probably drop the front 1.5-2.0 inches to get rid of the "boat" look and not much more than 1.25-1.5 inches in the back. I dont have a rear camber kit and i would rather not get one if possible so i shouldnt drop the back more than 1.5" right?
I plan to get upper strut tower bars and lower tie bars and then a suspension techniques swaybar kit. I know this all sounds like alot of money for someone who is not going to race, but i want my car to be very reliable, look great, and have good quality parts. Something i can spend my hard earned money on and be proud of as we all do.
So with that said, what might be some suggestions on my setup? i can give more details on what i have or want to do if anyone's interested. I trust this forum alot.

i can tell u this, ur off to a good start with the gcs, stick with the ingalls kit. for one they r a reputable brand and u will have less frustration when aligning ur car. reliability will be about the same between the two but for ease of use id go with ingalls. when u get ur upper strut and rear tie bar dont go chaap 20$ ebay on those cuz they wont fit correctly and ull have to do a little modification to get them snug. sway bars from what i have read help a lot and i plan on getting them soon along with the omni/nex coilovers. already got the 2 bars. every little bit helps.
thanks yeah i plan to get my strut bars and tie bars and all from tasauto. They're each like $40 bucks which is cheap but ive ordered alot of things from that place and i've never been dissappointed. Everything on that site is researched to fit good on our accords so ill go with them. They dont seem to be a name brand strut bar or anything, like DC sports, but i've been told that mostly all strut bars are basically doing the same thing. Lower tie bar may be a different story.
Yeah i cant wait to put the GC coilovers on. I bought some tockico shocks, 2" lowering springs and the never been used ingalls kit from someone for 200 bucks. I figured that i couldnt go wrong especially when the shocks and springs were only used for 2 weeks before taken back off. but i wanted some adjustability so i splurged on the GC's and now im skeptical about the tockico's because im not exactly sure that they were for an accord. i want AGX's but if these fit, i can save myself about $400 bucks, Even though they say "get adjustable shocks, you'll thank yourself later"
Thanks for the advice guys hope this helps with my situation. Keep the advice coming......
