If anyone has read any of my past threads, you would know i am thinking about getting a 88 CRX Si for $950(i can probably talk him down) it has some dents in the front and some rust here and there and a salvage title that was issued in 91.. today i found out it has a b16 engine and a new tranny.. but i'm in CA and i dont know if i should get it or not cause i want to be able to smog it and use it as a daily driver etc.. what should i do? buy it, fix it up and find a shop that would smog it? or ... eh i dont know...

 

it depends on what you want the car for a daily driver or a street race car, or do you want a project car,it sounds like a good deal but i can guarantee that the motor will need some major work, and you can find a shop that will smog it, but it would probley be any where from 150.00 to 250.00, good luck,

 

It only took me a few hours and a few jacksons to get my car smogged

 

i'll go take it for a spin and see if i like it... if i get it, maybe someone can hook me up with a place to smog it at

 

if all is good, i would get it, not that hard to find a place that will smog for a couple extra bucks.
