Ok,
Car = 98 ls with gsr tranny, auto ecu,
Compression results 185 across board
Leakdown perfect
Previous quarter mile 15.4....new one 16.3
Im noticing that my spark plug wires come off cylinder three constantly...So i just ordered new wires
My question is what could be causing such a severe performance loss, the clutch is NOT slipping either, what could be causing almost a whole second loss??
Ive done all the other stuff like leakdown and compression tests and the car burns NO oil, and has had the oil changed previously. The ONLY thing it needs right now is an alignment. I checked the codes it was throwing and it was all tranny related (auto to manual swap) and it said something about idle air because the ecu is different and causes a wierd idle on startup. (common with all auto to manual swaps that keep the ecu)

Keep in mind this is NOT driver related either cause i ran a consistent 15.4....what are chances i just out of the blue started driving like **** to run a consistent 16's

 

come on guys....someone posts about their elite jdm wheels and there are 3 pages of thread....technical questions come in and ppl are dead silent..i need some direction of where to go with this

 

auto ecu?? hmmm i dono.. my friend with his h22 prelude with a manual tranny swap and auto ecu was running consistent 17s.. try swapping to a manual ecu.
