first off to the mods this is not a DIY thread, well partially, but very partially, this is to help everyone trying to do the OEM Faux carbon interiors on there non ITR's and to help maybe those with ITR's that have been jacked for there stock pieces...

earlier, to look up some parts, i found the cruise control blocker and sunroof blocker i need, (i have a gsr but no more cruise or sunroof) so i wanted to rid of these

anyways i was looking up the prices on the Faux ITR interior pieces, and to do most of the conversion i'd go through this site, but for a few pieces i wouldn't so let me break it down, i went ahead and priced out everything from the site, and then afterwords i'll breakdown the route i think you should go for cheap Faux interior,
its very cheap if u alreayd have all the stock pieces that are not itr, because u can simply by the faceplates to the items, and swap them out by unscrewing and reinstalling with the faux carbon

very steep for the most part, but you don't really have to buy all these parts brand new!

now the cheap way
first buy these parts from the site, and swap out the face plates!

that basically takes care of the entire console except the shifter housing, now this is very hard to find used... Very, so its up to you to fork over the 122$ or not, i personally was lucky to find the entire console about 2 years back for 75$ shipped... but that was then times have changed

Driver vent, is pricey at basicalyl 100$, but if you look on ebay you can find RHD's for around 15$, and then follow my DIY write up and its well 17$ or so to have it fit a LHD dash

ok heres the write up i started with a dremel bit it looks liek a sphere on top instead of a full dril bit its id say 1/8 or so inch in diameter, u drill a hole right next to each other along the yellow line, dot next to dot, the reason for so small of holes is u dont want to waste to much of the excess piece that you are drilling away, when u are done, then u simply sand down the actual vent to make it smooth, and the excess piece to make it smooth, on the back sode of the excess piece i sanded in a 45 degree angle and then sanded to make it a nice curve shape on the side, then simply krazy glued it to the left hand side of the vent so it should be like this

some people said this was Hacking at it, but its the easiest thing to do and much cheaper then acuras prices. the only reason u swap the excess to the left hand side is so u dont look into the vent with the door open hope you folks enjoy

Climate Controls, used can be found on ebay for roughly 75$... way better then 183$ from the site so in the end it basically comes down roughly to

55$ shipped or so for ashtray,cig housing, and cupholder
25$ shipped for RHD Driver vent, plus 1$ super glue,and mod it to fit LHD
about 95$ or under for Climate control shipped,,
and
122$ if u want to order shifter housing from site, or wait to try and fund used...

if u bought all the parts like i said and the shifter housing fro the site its under $300 shipped, if u chose not to do the shifter housing you can have it all minus that one piece for around $175 shipped, i think thats very damn GOOD!

god knows i did! bought my cf pieces from len.... you forgot a piece... is the cig lighters trim piece. 75 bucks.

 

and to think i dislike to the faux cf my car had it in it when i bought it.. and want stock.. heh.

 

Wow, $441 on interior? No thanks.....I dont have enough money to buy **** like that (that doesn't really server a purpose)
