Wow. That is a pretty neat vid.
That was a quick lap. The driver has obviously had more than a few laps at the ring. Those cars are so much fun! The SR3 was quick, I can't wait to get in a SR8! That thing has got some power...

There was one point when he was going through some esses (I think about 3/4 into the lap) and almost lost it for a split second and was sliding through.... WOW

Constant, constant, constant steering corrections the entire lap.

Great vid to watch.

I caught a fondness for those things when I shared the track with a few of them last year at VIR.

Great Video, wish the quality was a bit better but it was still amazing to watch.

And watching exactly what Dave was, not just in the esses where he was working on staying ahead but also watch when he's constantly tightening his belts with his left hand between shifting. Then tries to use his right hand, you notice it get a little loose.

This was just the kind of fun I wanted to watch before I left for work this morning.

I say dump the street tires and get some sticky bubble gum rubbers and try it all over again.

Thanks for posting this up

But if you was rich enough, you could buy enough hardware and enough practice time that you probably could eventually do a 6 minute lap around the 'ring.

All I wish for is track time. I never claimed to be able to do a 6 minute lap time, come on dude.

1) I wish I had seen this when GT4 came out - I'd know where to lift on the last uphill straight.

2) Was the car he passes in the last minute an SL55?
