Need help running a coolant tube from skunk 2 throttle body...
Take a look at this picture, where on the stock GSR throttle body, this pipe is not there, but on the skunk 2 throttle body it is. The directions say to run it to the heater...but is it necessary..and where do you run it to? Soon as I poor coolant into the car, it just spits it out at that hole, should it be plugged? does it have a real purpose? Please respond asap, its one of 3 minor things missing for my car to be running....
Thanks

that looks more like an intake manifold than a throttle body. most likely he just got a s2 b18c manifold & is trying to find a matching spout to connect to the one on the skunk. your answer is that if you have no other open spouts then plug it, & if you do have another open one, then connect it there.
umm i dont know if this is what you're talkin about, but on my d16y8 throttlebody there was a coolant hose as well and i believe it ran from an opening beneath the TB to this T connecter hose thing on the motor? wait it's probably not from the motor but when I replaced the hose, i had coolant leaking... it's not a big deal i dont think, you can probably plug it, or you can try looking for an opening near the motor right by the crankcase? i don't know my engine parts sorry, but i know what hose i'm talking about
