I just picked up a 2nd gen Si for $500 and now I'm curious if any of the parts from the 3G, body, mechanical, or whatever, are interchangable? Well, I really need a left, rear caliper, and I can easily find them for 3g, but I'm not sure if they'll work on a 2g...anyone know?

 

The 2g calipers are the same as the 3g S and 87-89 Accord non-LXi’s. The 2g actually has more in common with the 3g Accords. This includes the engine, tranny, and brakes. As far as body parts, I only know of the 3g Prelude front bumper being made to fit the 2g fairly easily.

There used to be a dedicated 2g Prelude site. You might want to try preludepower.com to see if anyone knows it whereabouts. The most knowlegable guys are drivergt5 and jdmet2. I've also found 3geez.com to be helpfull too.
