E brake
my e brake light stays on after i put it down. usually on very cold nights or days. it will turn off after awhile usually after i use the brakes.
does anyone have any ideas as how to fix this or even know what it is?

Could be the little sensor not working when you put the E-brake down. You'll see it if you remove the center console. Check the wiring.
More likely is your brake fluid level. The "BRAKE" light comes on when you have low brake fluid. Take a look and see.
