Is this a good reccomended upgrade ??
This is a kit offered by T.A.S.
Kit includes front and rear cross-drilled rotors, as well as Carbomet brake pads. Package gives less brake fade and greater stopping power. Carbomet brake pads are made from a semi-metallic, carbon fiber composite. Carbon fiber is more resistant to heat so you can expect less brake fade under hard braking conditions, increased stopping power and low dust levels. Bolt-on, no modifications needed. Fits cars originally equipped w.rear disc brakes only.
Carbon Fibre is not the latest in brake pad materials. I've heard of Carbon/Graphite and such, but carbon fibre.... Go with either Ceramic (Hawk, etc) or Ceramic/Kevlar pads. As suggested, Brembo's make a great rotor out there, Regardless of configuration.
garbage????.... i don't think so...
I was going to do a brake upgrade with Legend conversion, but I decided to go with some 12' Tenzo R from Tasauto.com.... ....and just have a question.... what would the blank brembro do if they are blank??? Drilled and or slotted... that's some stopping power......
