i wanna strip my plasti cote paint off my gsr rims? what do i need to get?

 

I was trying to find out this same answer. I want to strip the paint off of my rims and repaint them. does anyone know????

 

Sandblasting always works, or you could go to a paint store and get some mineral spirits and give that a try. I've found a really good product at home depot for stripping valve covers can't remember the name, but you spray it on it'll foam up then you hose it off ten minutes later and the valve cover is completely stripped. Look in the paint section at different strippers.

 

Yup, I hear sandblasting is very good. Prices range from $100-150 around the NJ area. Not bad. My friend had to do it before he had his rims powdercoated.
