Default brake rotor and hub assembly

Can anybody share their secret of taking their brake rotor out? I have a 96 Honda Accord, LX. The car shakes when I brake at around 60 miles per hour on a slope.

Please advice. Is it the brake or something else?

Before I would spend the money having the rotors changed.... I would see if your local Honda dealer could machine them for you. One of the required tools for the dealer is an On-Car-Brake Lathe.... it cuts the rotor without removing it. Not too costly... 150-200 bucks including new front pads.

correct me if im wrong, but im almost positive that the 5th and up generation accords are rotor-over-hub. In that case, take the caliper off, then take the two Philips head screws out (connect the rotor to hub) and wallah, rotor comes off. In cho76ers case, he has a 4th gen (like my car) and that is a hub-over-rotor which is completely different.

Correcting you:

All 5th Generation accords are Hub Over Rotor. I just did the job myself and had to use a 100-ton farm press to press out the hub from the knuckle on both sides and then take the rotors off and replace them. Or machine, your call, mine were too warped to machine.

SIDE NOTE: If you have some extra money, replace the knuckles on your accord with Acura CL knuckles (the car that resembles our car but only came in a two door variation from Acura). They use rotor over hubs and it's not that expensive.
