Do Canadian Type R's have the fake carbon fiber trim (CW 2001 model Red Seats ) ?

I swear I've seen CDN R's with fake cf trim and Ti Shift ****....?
I can't confirm but will look into it.

01 Canadian Type R don't have fake carbon fiber trim. And yes, they have the red seats.

I believe the CF trim is limited to the cluster. No where else.

You're correct.


2001 CDM ITR: no faux-CF trim in center console, climate control, vents, etc. Leather wrapped red-stitched shift ****.

I'm a Canadian, and i've seen ALOT of Canadian models up close (every model year as well) and the only fake CF stuff on any Canadian model is in the guage cluster as was stated before. It is on all years. But there is no fake cf trim in any of our models, contrary to whatsome others are saying here.

no, although you are correct about 2000's being PY. It was the only color available in Canada in 2000. For 2001 the only color available was CW again; and those are the ones with the red seats in them.

the only carbon trim on Canadian R's are ones that have been done by the owner(s) for that Jdm look, I personally do not like it

Yes, 2000 was the only year that Canada got PY, but CW was also an option.
I got my 00 in CW. There are very few 2000 CW ITR's in Canada.

ok. only thing we get is CF trim in gauge..
that's it. we get black leather shift **** with red stiching. we dont get the Ti oens
and the vents and whatever u guys have in CF.. we dont get it
