Airbag Question
i am trying to put a drivers airbag from a 95 gsr in my 96 gsr. the plugs are differant, so im just gonna splice in the old plug. but it turns out that the 2 wires are 2 differant colors on the 95 and they are both yellow on the 96. does it matter if i get these wires reversed? i dont want it to blow up in my face. any help would be appriciated. thanx.
Honestly its an air bag I really wouldnt mess with it like splicing. maybe see if you can get the right one and sell this one. Just a sugestion messing with splicing wires with airbags scares me.
i wouldnt do if if i was you. just letting you know those air bags is pretty darn crazy if it goes off in ur face. just find one for your car....not worth the risking your life to save a little money.
im gonna call the dealership in the morning and ask em. if they dont know im just gonna try it. i think that if i tape it up right and it doesnt blow when i turn the key that i am fine. worst thing that could happen is it doesnt work right?
