What can I do to make my regular 06 rsx faster without voiding the warranty?
You should have gotten a different car if "its just not fast enough" Everything voids warrantties. Granted if you have an exhaust and your windshield wipers stop working those will still be covered. You get the idea.
You could take a drving class and get better tires. OR buy parts install them yourself and take them off when you go to the dealership to avoid problems.
Just another thing to think about when doing modifications and worrying about the warranty.
Brother of a friend of mine had a new Jetta a year or two ago...all he had on it was an exaust...Well few months go by and the transmission basically fails (dont know what exactly happened). So he brought it to the dealer and they wouldnt cover the cost for a new trans. What the dealer concluded was that the exaust added "so much more power" and the transmission couldnt handle it.

Wow, I want that exhaust...
That's about stupid of them to do that to him. If I understand things right, it's illegal of them to do so, too, because there's no way they could convincingly prove that the exhaust could damage a transmission.
HOWEVER...
Since it's up to the dealer to honor the warranty or not, they can come up with some excuse that looks good on paper and refuse to do the work.
If you've got a good rapport with a dealership, hang onto them. Mine understands that my modified parts only affect themselves; the suspension upgrades had nothing to do with the clutch master cylinder, etc. I've heard of one or two other dealerships in my area that, for sure, have the same "go for it" attitude with modified parts. I don't want to take my car anywhere else.

Like Barracks said if you know your service writer it can really help. You can probably do bolt ons, i/h/e/k-pro and not affect the rest of the car. However, if you axle breaks or something else in the drive line you could really have some issues with warranty work.

that was illegal by the dealer, he should have taken them to court

weight reduction, additional grounding points, hyper voltage system, light weight wheels? (prob gonna blame aftermarket wheels if brake system craps out), maybe some throttle adjustments?
magnus morris act..
saying that if the shop cant prove that the aftermarket product was the reason for failure.. they cant refuse to fix your car under warranty if its still under warranty.
so just keep that in mind and decide what you want to fck around with

i dunno man why buy a new car and not spend the extra 2k for the "faster" version? did you test drive the car before buying it, it is a good indication of how much power it will have. warranties are cool to have leave the car alone or take the hit and trade it in for a type s (it has an extra 50hp)

Please stop providing erroneous Information!
No dealer or manufacturer can void a new car warranty! They can only deny the claim for which the problem has been submitted. The entity must prove that the part installed caused or contributed to the problem. as someone already stated this is under the magnusson moss warranty act of 1975.
