b18b in japan only from 93-94 ??
ok well, I was just on team-integra.net and just browsing around and looking at all the JDM integras and as they go by year and what changes during the years, and I found that the b18b was only used in the integra's in japan from years 93-94 in the ESi model. all integra before that only use the ZC motor and b16. All integras 95 and up only use the ZC motor, b18c sir-g and b18c type-r. So all im saying is, the LS (b18b) was only made in JDM integras during 93-94, right ? They utilize the ZC motor as the base motor its entire life, and the LS only 93-94. heres the link, http://www.team-integra.net/se...how=5 , go to specs. So there should be limited supply on jdm b18b's since they were only made for 2 years. I just found this interesting.
T-I mods do tend to be ********, if you were ever on a while back, you'd have seen AlvinHuyN's DC, clean as hell, and they banned him for making some comment regarding front mount intakes being retarded... at that point i pretty much dropped out of T-I, cuz Alvin was my boy, and it was bullshit.
actualy the combustion chamber is different and therefore the jdm has 9.4:1 compression vs us 9.2:1....the jdm has higher redline and 145 hp vs. us 143!!!

isnt the US is 142 not 143?
anyway, maybe this was a mistake but i've seen somewhere that US had 145 in some years(maybe obdi) and 142hp(obdii(?)) in some?

With my intenaly stock 98 jdm b18b in my 2000 civic 2dr coupe with rear brake covergion and I/h/e with act clutch, I was able to go 15.08 1/4 mile with 17" rims!!!
good displacement and torque!!!
I'm currently building my b18b with p30 pistons, crane springs + retainers and crower 404 cams with skunk 2 cam gears...also 3 angle valve job!!!! I should get a 11.21:1 compression with this set up and around 170whp!!!!
