Popping noise when i hit my brakes.
ok i was going down the road last night and i hit my brakes and started to hear a popping noise coming from the front end. sounded sorta like suspension pops (its old)
also i have had bad vibration in the steering wheel lately and my boots on my axles are tore a bit.
do you think the popping is the axle and all of this is related?
thanks

If the boots on the axles are torn, start by replacing those. Even if it's not causing the popping, which it may be, they need to be replaced. Just get the ones from O'Reilly, Napa, Auto Zone, wherever. Shouldn't be much more than $60 or so.
If that doesn't fix it, then continue looking.

Yeah, you need to fix the known problems you have before searching out new ones.
