well i just happened to fall upon 4 yokohama A-008rsII's size 205/55/14 for free ... they have a lot of tread on them and look like they are in really good shape... i was wondering how well these would perform in autox... thanks guys

they dont seem that bad... the guy said that the last time he used them were for autox at the beginning of this season... well ill see next weekend

 

post up the DOT number on the sidewall!!

 

Wow, that brought back some memories... I bought my first set of A008s back in 1987... Only wish i discovered autox then and not 13 years later...

Crap, you've been at this longer than I have. I got my first set of 008Rs in 1989.

 

well i finally got my A-008rsII's mounted on some 14" aluminum wheels today... i went directly to a nearby parking lot(that was almost empty) and scrubbed off all the old rubber... then i setup a quick little slalom and did a quick test... these things are awesome!! about 5x better than my all seasons... ill post up some pics of them tomorrow if i get the chance
