EM swap ideas
My woman's giving me a project of being able to tinker with her car. She has an EM2 ( 02' Lx ) and wants some more power. I've searched and looked around and the 2 ideas i've come to are:
-Swapping into a K20a3 ( Another member on here said they go for as little as $800 for the WHOLE swap )
-Mini-me ( so far i've seen ZERO info on adding a vtec head to a non-vtec block on the D17's )
So my questions to you more knowledgeable EM, Ep, DC guys are:
1) what are the prices of each
2) Are there any issues ( i.e. non-plug-n-play ) for each of those.
Please dont direct me to sign-up @ another honda website. This site needs some info on this forum (why no FAQ?).

There's no way you can do a3 swap with 800.
Hasports motormounts itself cost $500.
You could find a3 motor and tranny for around $1500-2000.(junk yard or ebay)
Then you would need Si front axles, lx axles won't work with k series.
Mini-me is not worth it on d17. only 10hp gain.
